Lead Attorney

Houston Office

Carrie Marquis is a senior attorney at Bryan Fagan, PLLC, and focuses her practice on family matters, particularly those involving child-related issues and complex property matters. She has an extensive career in family law, having practiced in this arena for more than 27 years.

During her last year of law school, she spent time in the domestic violence unit of the Harris County District Attorney’s office. It was this experience that led Carrie to family law. She has a strong background in business as well, having served as a public accountant in the oil and gas industry.

Carrie’s passion is in protecting the family unit and promoting co-parenting as it is best for children to have two dedicated parents involved in their lives. She helps her clients reach a settlement through mediation when it is feasible, and when it is not, she is a zealous advocate in trial proceedings.

Carrie holds an undergraduate degree in finance, a masters degree in accounting, and a juris doctorate degree. When not practicing law, she can be found spending time with her wife and three dogs. She also loves to travel and preparing new recipes!
